Most important, the honorary ayatollah serving as Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic is very aware the neocons are coming for him and that the young half of Iran wants his turban. So he has just called on all Moslem countries to blockade Israel, which I believe will be answered—at least by the Shi’a Crescent—then followed by year’s end with a resurgence of the BDS movement in the West, and eventually a worldwide boycott of the State of Israel.
That will fuel (while fuel lasts) Netanyahu’s very right-wing government’s militance, and Israel will complete its turn toward fascism domestically and war externally.

Almost as important, Kim Iversen is good on everything but China probably because her family’s in Vietnam. (It’s embarrassing to watch her cover China, really, but I still highly recommend you subscribe to such actual journalism).
Last week she deduced the same as I have regarding Gavin Newsom’s potential presidential future, even to the detail he will be the horse switched to after the Dems have passed the primary point of no return, meaning the point past which they can’t hold a primary, which is what the now fully authoritarian party saving democracy from itself wants to can’t do.
So the whole indysphere may soon be catching on to this glaringly obvious, xenon-truck-headlights-in-your-windshield scheme slipping out of the war machine’s sleeve. Did I say war machine?…
It’s all about the concern I started these essays with, lads and ladies, from Ukraine to Iran; the real purpose of the pricey pullout from Afghanistan (still somehow a mystery to all analysts and commentators) to the worldwide dance around the little island with the most advanced semiconductors in the world; and the move from the $ to the ?.
We are at war, and our adversary has just made it clear they know what we’re up to, if you can read the geodance of an eagle and a dragon, two creatures that fly higher and see farther than any others.
Eagle’s got more tricks tho, and lives in reality. How high we are right now—maybe I shouldn’t speak for you—we can have one eye on the Borg cube desperate to spread and consume to keep its insectile system from collapsing, and the other on the center of the chessboard.
(Oh nooooo, we’re wasting our arsenal in Ukraine! And China’s navy is catching up! and Russia and China have sixth-generation jets already! Why are we so stuuuupid?!
Loooook up. It’s about to get gravitic, siblings. That’s why the recent disclosing of… We don’t need sixth-gen planes if… And who needs more boats when…)

I was all ready to roll out a research essay on the trans phenomenon and release it in eight parts, staggered with very edgy videos on racism, but the attack in Gaza has taken all my attention. So now I gotta pivot my concern to the world war there are now too many signs is unavoidable. A video series on this conflict is now being released under exclusive management of a platform I believe will be the most resistant to the intense video censorship coming next year… rumble, rumble.
Don’t worry: you’ll get to see sooooo much trans stuff soon. And racism.
I figure it’s time to spill every secret I know about the Middle East, because they may together with some common sense argument convince of the need for a third solution—a seemingly unconsidered one, between war that will conflagrate the whole chessboard and the isolationism no power anywhere will allow us now.
Meet your neighbors. Renew your passports. Keep your devices charged. Text during crises if your calls are going thru. Stock meats. Fill water bottles. Buy a handcrank radio, land line, extra can openers, and a little solar generator if you can. Stay frosty.
